Requesting deletion of your creator data
If Posca Hydrate holds information about you as part of our creator programme, you can ask us to delete it. This page explains how.
How to make a request
Email with the subject line Creator data deletion, and include:
- Your name
- The social media handle you used with us
- The email address you gave us, if it is different from the one you are writing from
That is all we need. You do not have to give a reason.
What happens next
We will confirm we have received your request within 5 business days, and complete it within 30 days. If it is going to take longer, we will tell you why.
What gets deleted
- Your contact details, shipping address and social handle
- Any content of yours we have stored
- Any permissions record, which also means we stop using your content
What we may have to keep
Australian law requires us to keep certain business and tax records, including records of goods we have sent. Where that applies we keep the minimum required, and we stop using it for anything else.
We may also keep a minimal record that a deletion request was made, so that we can show we honoured it.
Withdrawing permission without deleting everything
If you only want us to stop using your content in advertising, but are happy for us to keep your contact details, say so in your email. You do not have to choose all or nothing.
